Due to all the talk of net neutrality (the idea that Internet access should not favor one company's content over others) and overall ability of Facebook to engage people, the political course is a must to make the world better. (NASDAQ: FB) The Zuck himself said he is turning Internet.org into a platform rather than a "walled garden" featuring Facebook and other services, like the BBC, it chooses to support. By letting other Internet Service Providers, rather than just Facebook, choose what content to support, Facebook hopes to deflect criticism away from its choices. This is being sold as pushing the service out to"developers". Facebook will try to avoid the same problem that Google had at publishing content. With pubs themselves asking for more rev share and FB creating the instant articles feature, this will work itself out. But this is also important for Politics because the content will be instantly available on Facebook for any current event.
